Or anything else that contains sulforaphane.
Right now am looking at detox xenobiotic pathways.
Tocotrienols will up regulate PXR/SXR, as will st johns wort, but SJW also up regulates inflammatory genes so no good,Vitamin K2 will also upregulate.
Tocotrienols you can buy as a supplement, they are only found
in small amonts in regular vitamin E.
If you up regulate your PXR it can interfere with your meds, get rid of
them too fast. Also PXR activation induces cancer,it seems.
A funny thing I am starting to notice, it seems that just about
everything they give to mice/rats,improves their IBD.
It is interesting that mice/rats PXR is activated/works differently than
Ok my daughter who does this for a living says the whloe world is confused on PXR, so many redundant pathways/feed back loops.
Anyhow but since PXR is downregulated in inflammation then eating broccoli wont make it
any worse. Did not comment on up regulation.
So scrap this whole thread and eat your broccoli if you like it.
