I'm so sorry to hear you are back in the dreaded 'flare' boat. Especially after you were doing well.
I read your signature that someone told you using rectal meds wouldn't help your situation. I'm no dr, but I think it is worth a try. That has definitely helped me, when I could no longer be on pred. I would talk to your dr about it again. I've used both rowasa enemas, and canasa suppositories. If you are in a bad flare you might not retain the enema for the first few nights, but you should continue trying...
In regards to your food, I'm not sure if what you ate is normally fine for you. But I know for me, I have to avoid lettuce like its the plague. Even a little on a sandwhich, will cause me problems. Could be you overdid it on pushing the boundaries with the food. Betweeen salad, pizza, and fast food. I know I'd be having problems. (Just know we all do that. Push the boundaries at one time or another and then kick ourselves later, regretting it)
I sure hope you start climbing the ladder to recovery soon.
