Mesasal, but menstuation has always been a trigger for me as well. For this reason, I switched to a birth control pill that will allow me to menstruate only every three months instead of every month. You might want to consider it.
Also, yes you should still consider enemas. After my UC spread to my entire colon, I was still taking rectals when I went in for my colonscopy. The doc didn't see any inflammation at all when she first went in, and then it wasn't until she got past the sigmoid that she actually found the inflammation. So no, it won't treat the entire colon, but it will at least treat the lower part, which is better than nothing. It still does it's part in helping from the bottom if you take it along with orals. (Always treat from both ends!)
