Hey all! Great to hear from you!
Levi, we just drove from new England to western North Carolina to see my in-laws! How's it going!
Fruitgirl, glad things are still going well for you! And Conquer, best wishes back at you!
Babe, it took me decades to figure out what worked for me. And I learned a lot from reading input from folks on this forum - even from reading things that didn't seem right for me; I still learned.
And is my current remission a result of my regimen or a happy fluke? I really don't know!
I think that this disease is so frustrating that if something, some med or diet change or ANYTHING seems to work some, it's easy to want to tell the world that we've found the fix, once and for all. So I find a lot of "zealots" quite forgivable!
And logically speaking, there are things that "ought" to work for everyone.... but somehow, with UC, the strange thing is that it ain't necessarily so.
My motto has been to learn everything I can, try the things that are least harmful, and be patient with myself.
