Some have come here to say that their UC is in remission from supplements and imodium.
It has its place for those who might have the OK from the doc, or having to use a low dosage to function while on meds to fight a flare...or if someone has a special event and needs to use it to attend, etc.
It's not recommended for daily use, and it certainly has no power to help inflammation.
I've never taken it...I do take Bentylol (antispasmodic) for sure once daily.
I prefer and suggest fibre supplements and probiotics, antispasmodic and on occasion I'll suggest the Imodium for the place that it has for one's ability to function.
*Heather* I give suggestions, do with them what you will.
