Does anyone know where I can purchase some good, reputable fennel tea? I heard its good for your gut. I am in Australia and I can't seem to find any.

Hi MaxMillian

I have heard of Fennel Tea, but it was related to easing wind in a colicky baby. I made the tea from fennel seeds (any supermarket) and simply boiling it in water. Let it cool, strain and drink. I haven't tried it for my UC strangely enough, but then again, I have tried other teas eg peppermint or camomile. When I remember to take it, I have the peppermint after lunch. It just helps ease any indigestion and calms everything.

Thanks jovana. I'll try making it that way.

Yep, making tea from the seeds should work. I take capsules after certain meals and it really does work well for me to prevent gas.

Don't know if they'll ship to you, but I order mine from vitacost.

Try to look for an herbalist or herbs supplier store in your area. You can usually bag a little bit in bulk for cheap, cheap, cheap!
