notsosicklygirl, that is exactly what my first thought was too (and my GI thought the same). It still may be the case. It's human nature to think that things they are doing are working (I am just generalizing it to human nature to save face rather than saying "I have a tendency to..."
). Cleaning my eating habits and lifestyle is a good thing anyways. I also feel that Humira was not really doing much actually to heal my system. It was merely addressing the symptoms (which was still good). It was working on and off. I was still having symptoms, but they were generally manageable (as long as I knew where the closest bathroom is all the time). Changing to paleo not only stopped the symptoms completely, but I could tell my gut began to heal quickly. The colonoscopy results last week confirmed that (there is significant healing). Again, Humira could have put me in remission, but I am off Humira since last November and not missing it
