Stay away from CCherbal. As I just posted in another thread:
The pills are filled with a blueish mystery powder.
There are no scientific names of the herbs supposedly in the pills.
There are few if any trustworthy anecdotes on here or anywhere else regarding the efficacy of this stuff.
China's water, soil, and air are largely defiled and polluted, anything grown there is suspect.
Save your money.
So ... the active ingredient Isatis Naturalis, aka Isatis Tinctorum, aka Woad, aka basically a plant that grows out of the ground that has been used for centuries is a "mystery powder"?
There are no "scientific names" for this herb ..... you mean like the ones I just named?
There are no "trustworthy anecdotes" .... what exactly is a "trustworthy anecdote" anyway?
Do you mean no "trustworthy studies"? As in "clinical studies"? Specifically done for UC? Like this one?
Or this one?
Or this one?
China's ground is polluted ... ok, maybe there are no unpolluted areas in China, and we shouldn't eat ANYTHING that's grown in China ... but are there are no sources for isatis naturalis outside of China? Or in the US? Are you saying it can't be grown in your own backyard?
Save your money .... I agree, I've saved lots of money from the remission I've received from the herb.... then again I'm probably not a "trustworthy anecdote"..
Diagnosed UC 2009 - Moderate Pancolitis since 2015.
April 2017 stopped Lialda after 5 years, in remission after 6 months Qing Dai (3grams daily) + 60mg sulforaphane (140g brocolli sprouts, juiced) + good multivitamin, fish oil, CBD oil, cardio and other odds and ends.
You can only lead a horse to water...
