Very frustrating place for you to be.
Your GI thinks possibly Collagenous Colitis? Definitely seen on a microscopic level...which a scope should determine with biopsies throughout.
Do you have the results of your past biopsies from scopes in your possession? If not..I suggest you get them for your records and personal research.
From what I've read, Crohn's colitis can mimic UC if it's in the same pattern as UC...few on here have had assumed ulcerative pancolitis and after removal it being determined it was Crohn's colitis.
Regardless, you do have some questions for your GI and should eventually have another scope to have him determine if you do have Collagenous colitis (I don't know of another type that would start with a C other than Crohn's Colitis).
Hope you find answers, it certainly gives some peace of mind to move forward.
*Heather* I give suggestions, do with them what you will.
