I'd initially do sudafed...low dosage to start.
The saline lavages such as NeilMed squirt bottle that's mixed with water.
If you have infection you might need meds if all fails.
Antihistamines can severely dry out the sinuses preventing them from draining...it's a catch 22.
You might consider the steroid nasal sprays.
If Actifed is available ... that was the best for me during spring or allergy related sinus issues..

My doc's logic.. "TREAT (FROM)BOTH ENDS" worth it !!!
