For some reason this thread was locked so I couldn't comment in it, but this helped clear some things up for me this morning. I believe I had a gallbladder attack last night & I still have back pain now with a headache.
I have most of these symptoms, but I don't have the main one most people complain about
...the pain on the right side under the ribs. I don't have any sensitivity there at all. What I do have is jaw pain, headache, sever back pain all over my back but mostly just under the shoulder blades on both sides but mostly the right. I'm tired and foggy headed.
Last night when the pain was the worst, I decided to drink water until my stomach couldn't hold anymore. The hope/idea was to push out any gas from what I thought was heartburn/indigestion. The back pain wouldn't go away so I just went to bed lying on a heating pad. I slept fine and woke up fine, but now my back hurts like heck.
I also had the yellow D as was explained in the original post and I've had a burning sensation for a couple days now. No nausea. The yellow D and burning sensation is something I've experienced many times before and I've read here of others with UC explaining the same thing. I can't help but wonder if this is very common with us with UC and if it's something that if addressed could help clear up most of our complications.
My GI is currently on vacation, but the nursing staff assures me he'll be notified upon return. I guess I'll ask to have a HIDA scan if it's not suggested.
Any suggestions? Opinions? Others with this issue?
