Hello. I am having a colonoscopy tomorrow so I've had to do the whole 'not eating' diet thing. Today, I had 2 poached eggs for breakfast, then for lunch, 1 white bread bun. When I came home from work, I had 2 bowls of chicken stock (just boiled some water and added chicken cubes).
I haven't even touched the bowel prep stuff yet and already I am having pure liquid D (already been to the toilet like 5 times). The D came after about
45 minutes after finishing my 2 bowls of chicken stock. Up until this evening, (even this morning) I had formed stool. I've looked at the ingredients of the chicken stock and there is nothing that has caused me D before (I have eaten everything in the chicken stock before without issues).
Any ideas why I am having all this D suddenly? Could it have something to do with my empty stomach too?
I am going to try another two bowls of chicken stock to see if I have another sudden onset of D. At this rate, I probably don't even need to take the bowel prep.
PS: My symptoms have been very sporadic since my FTs. I do know I have more IBS symptoms (having to use the toilet after/during eating).
