Just an update for anyone wanting more info on the j-pouch procedure...
I am four and a half months out from my takedown surgery, and I can now sleep through the night without having to get up to go to the bathroom at all! Woo-hoo! This is a huge win for me, as I am the type of person who needs my sleep.
I am also living a fuller life now than I ever did with UC. If you want to know more about
what I've been up to since surgery, check out my latest blog post by clicking on the link in my signature.
I also have info on my experiences with immunosuppressants (Imuran, Remicade, Humira) and prednisone in some of my posts from last year if surgery is not your thing.
Good luck and take care, everyone!
