I just doubt anyone on the UC board has a lot of info about
crohns and butyrate. We are just starting to try and apply it to UC. ;) If the first was too technical for you, the second will be as well. both say, yes it can be helpful for crohns, the first recommends 4 grams. I don't know how they split up the dose or if they did.. You could try to read the study just for that info.
If you go to www.google.com and type "butyrate crohns" without the " in the search the first link will be to the second study, don't know why I can't link it directly.
