Guess I'll have to make a stop over at the Celiacs forum....I've been freaking out since last Friday when he had an ultra sound that showed inflammation throughout his colon (his liver is inflamed as well but that's likely due to yrs of drinking and fast-food abuse) I was so scared he had either CD or UC, not that celiacs is anything great to be DX with either but from my understanding he can control it with diet.
He said the sigmoidoscopy he had this morning was the worst thing he's ever gone through, I was like, yeah, you're telling ME this!?! LOL then I laughed out loud as he was explaining the procedure...I was like, are you kidding me, I've been there and done that multiple times plus all the colonoscopies I've gone through I was like, be glad that you weren't sent for a colonoscopy because they're even worse lol.
It should be interesting to try and help him change his diet for the celiacs, the lactose intolerance is easy with using lactaid pills but the celiac diet will be a challenge for him.
bee propolis caps 500mg one cap twice/day
omegas 369 caps one cap twice/day
probiotics 10 billion cfu once/day
vitamins C-calcium ascorbate (easy on the gut) and vitamin A each once/day
Prodiem fibre supplement one cap before bed
I've also altered my diet (no junky stuff at all, processed, fast-foods, refined sugars, ect) and exercise regularly.
I went from 30+ bloody BM's/day with lots of lower back pain to an average of 5/day no bleeding no back pain and completely formed stools, still have severe urgency issues.
~~~~~~~~My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it! LOL :)~~~~~~~~
