Well if you have been flaring for a long time then the bacterial balance in your colon is probably quite damaged by now and you are not producing enough of the enzymes that digest gluten. It can take months to be able to eat gluten without any issues.
Ya, I kinda suspected that but wanted to test it anyway. I didn't think I was ever that sensitive to the stuff. I've heard when you eliminate gluten completely it can make you even more sensitive than you were before. Apparently that happened to me! On the bright side I went completely SCD yesterday and and solid and bloodless today. It's actually amazing how quickly things go from good to bad then back to good again!

Medication: Mezavant 4.8g
Tried: salofalk enema, ft's, cortifoam, Sulphasalazine, salofalk oral
Prednisone 45mg made me worse, apparent infection, now on black walnut and clove and they appear to be working!
