today i worked Inside the office all day, didnt even go out for lunch...

tonight when i got home, i was feeling really flushed and hot, and my bf pointed out that my skin was really red on my back and my chest and my face a little.

so i call the pharmacy and they say that its because of the pred and its a side effect, but im not really reasured about this..

did this happen to anyone?

i havent even taken the pred for that long, and i started to drop the dose cause im planing to stop it in the next few days.. could it be from the weaning?

Prednisone always makes me flush. Side effects seem to get weirder and weirder as you taper. I dislike it very much to say the least.

Happened to me to. Along with splitting finger skin, extreme hair loss, insomnia, peeling skin in my mouth, persistent yeast infections, a double in my eye glass prescription, rage that was hard to control, a hump of fat on the back of my neck, a gathering of fat around the front of my neck that looked like a goiter, weight gain of 40 pounds, to name some of the effects Prednisone had on me.

Sure were awful effects quincy & those just touched the tip of the iceberg. As I recall - you were one of the posters who'd warned me numerous times that Prednisone was like the devil (something of the sorts). You could not have been more right & I'm thankful to have come off it without (to the best of my knowledge) without diabetes or osteoporosis.
