Last totally weird thought of the night...

Why don't they do a fecal transplant from say a mouse with UC into a healthy mouse and see if they spontaneously develop UC???

Just sayin....

ahhh that would suck for that poor mouse!!! but I guess we'd have no drugs if it weren't for animals!

it would be interesting to see what would happen.

I wonder if a study did that for humans and paid people really well... do you think anyone would volunteer for that???

Pretty sure it has been done or something like it.

Might be in my old T-Bet threads.

@Old Mike,
What application do you use to keep track of all links you post / article you check? I don't find my question posted 2 days ago or article that I read a week ago.

If I recall right I think in T-bet they realized the disease is contagious in those in those mice that are lacking or lo on T-bet. But I don't think they actually did a reverse transplant. I think the low t-bet mice caught it naturally not by ummm force...

@Banana... I feel bad for the mice as well...
Diagnosed Crohns-Colitis about 8 years ago - Past Meds: Antibiotics, Prednisone, Methotrexate, Remicade - Current Meds: No meds at the moment -Trying Amino Acid Balancing Therapy Actually achieved full clinical remission for about 2 years using Remicade, Diet (SCD) and Exercise
