Soy: the shopping is going to have to be kept to a minimum this year. Tonsillectomy recovery is more intense than I'm giving it credit for being. I think I'll aim to wrap up the closing of the property tomorrow, get a couple things for my fiancee, and call it a day.
It looks like I'll need to keep on the strong pain meds for a good week here, and that even days 6 and 7 of recovery will be a challenge. I'll definitely be doing what I'm good at: waiting patiently to feel better!
Enfyre: I learned a couple things throughout this deal, but I won't press the issue here. The seller is strung out mentally, and I will let it all just be. He is selling the property at a good enough price that this addition is not a big deal, although I hold a different opinion of him now that he has done this to me. I will look forward to closing on the property and checking that off my mental to-do list... which it has been on for a couple months now.
