I've had my colon gone for a long time but my urges actually hurt which I though was normal but I may also have the sister of colitis. Has this happened to anybody.

I have the brother of colitis.
2010:
DX proctitis, IBS, cecum inflammation
2012:
DX Crohns? (mild ulcers on terminal ileum), fructose + sorbitol malabsorption, non-toxigenic c.diff
Things I've Tried:
Pentasa (Oral and rectal), Salofalk (Oral), FMTs (6 infusions)
STATUS:
23/03/2013 c-scope + biopsies showed zero inflammation. Still have IBS
CURRENT MEDS:
Pentasa supps + oral tabs

Not sure I understand your post at all. You have had your colon removed? If so... there are other forums (diseases&conditions) you might find more useful.

Started June 24th, 2013; Colonoscopy July 9th; diagnosed UC July 11th Prednisone 20mg/day, Lialda, 4.2g - July - October --did not achieve full submission.
Current medications: Prednisone 30mg, balsalazide 3 750mg caps × 3x a day. Zoloft 200mg, Centrum Plus under 40 multi vitamin. FloraJen and another probiotic. B vitamin complex, ginger root, Curcumin 4g
Allergic to Sulfas.
