I'm a bit embarrassed by this question but am freaking out about
a new aliment. I have UC and in a chronic flare, which has caused a new hemorrhoid a few weeks ago. I've since have it under control and also my UC is a bit better due to taking Aloe Vera Gel a few times a day.
But, 4 days ago, I notice a weird pain in the butt (no pun intended). It is not intense, but it is in the inner left butt cheek and was almost hurting to the touch. I've been going about my daily routine for 4 days, taking Tylenol which seemed to make it better. I just couldn't really figure out where it was coming from.
Today, I was able to look and it seems that the one side of my rectum is a little swollen, which radiates up the inner side of the left cheek, which is also a slightly swollen and red. It is a little warm to the touch. So, it starts at the left side of my rectum and up my inner butt cheek. It is total about the size of a baseball. It is little swollen, but not hard and not very very painful, but a bit uncomfortable.
It's hard to explain, but I'm so very worried and freaking out. What the hell is wrong with me??
Has anyone had to happen? Have any ideas what it is? And, any ways to make it go away??
I will call my GI in the morning, but until then, any sight would help.
Thank you to my UC community you are always my go to for help as you are the only ones that truly understand this stupid disease.
