What else do you attribute the remission to? I was wondering what to do about maintenance meds if and when I do get into remission. I see you are on both ldn and mesalamine? Did the reduction from 4.5 to 3mg make any changes? That's great you are still in remission 2 years later!
I should have said that I've been in remission since about
the time I started taking LDN. Started on VSL at about
the same time, and it was the combo that I attribute to making me well.
No longer taking VSL, but I did add the butyrate and tumeric to my LDN and Apriso.Ya LDN seems to work best in conjunction with other stuff. I see LDN as something that allows us to turn off the autoimmune switch. However, if we dont address the underlying cause (bacterial dysbiosis, parasites, yeast, poor diet or whatever) the the switch will keep getting turned back on again. Im hoping my diet etc has helped me address my underlying issue, it certainly helped, I just never seem to be able to acheive remission. Fingers crossed ldn will help push me over that line.
Trying to end a 3 year flare, very slow progress.
