Just got off the phone with my GI. Pretty sure I have her cell phone # which is crazy to me.

After 5+ days with increased urgency (accidents once a day again) pain, bloating and blood... i called my GI and talked to her a bunch today. Home sick from work due to guts and sinus/migraine.

She just called back and upped the Vanco.
Ill be taking 250mg 4 times a day.

Hopefully this will help! Cuz I am about to freak out!

I think my c-diff isn't going away either. I was feeling better but when I tapered to 1 every four days I started feeling bad again. I am so over this.
I am considering going ahead with fmt and take my chances with a worse flare.

Im ready for some poop! I have a friend with good poop who really wants to give me some of hers, lol. But I know thats not how it all works.
im in such a small city, I dont know if I could even get FMT... though I know there is a lot about home fmt online that I could research. Im just hoping the double vanco will help!

It HAS to... right? ...right? **twitch** **twitch**

From my daughter's experience I strongly recommend FT. It's what brought a solid remission for her.

Incase you decide to do this -please choose a donor who lives or shares the same place with you. Also follow the other donor requirements.

Hey guys... going to the bathroom a lot today. Every 30-45 minutes.

So nauseous. Really really nauseous.

Just a terrible feeling in my stomach and chest. (Chest could be cold/flu related)

I have never felt this nauseous in my whole life. I feel like I rode the Tilt A Wirl for 3 hours straight.

Any ideas?? What can I do to calm this tummy ache??

30 seconds for me, and they'd be calling it the tilt-a-hurl !

ginger tea is always my goto eg -

if I'm feeling gassious, I reach for a carbonated beverage -

kinda like you tho, I haven't felt like that in a long time -

sounds like a bug :-(

I had two rounds of flagyl and now I'm on vanco. They put me on the same dose that you are increasing to- 250mg 4x/day. I wonder why they didn't put u on that right away?

Straight to Vanco is usual to get from a doctor (skipping the flagyl) so im glad I got it right away. And glad she doubled it now that it doesnpudding. to be helping.

Horrible nausea has decreased slightly now that im home and sipping on some bubbly soda. I also may have eaten an entire thing of butterscotch pudding.

Per usual... im just excited to be asleep. How lame a life I live.

Well the poop trips are still pretty constant. about every hour now.
The bottom of the bowl is filled with reddish thick liquid... sometimes more mucousy. There is def some urgency... and as i walk to the bathroom I can feel the poo move into my rectum and be ready to come out!

Im going to assume the increased poop and blood is the C. Diff being taken care of by the Vanco. The nausea ill attribute to doubling the vanco dose or just uc/c.diff in general.
Took some dramamine and that seemed to help. Still feeling cruddy. Look forward to sleeping away my Saturday. And pray I was up feeling a bit more human Sunday.

Wish me luck...
