I don't know if this is a coincidence or not, but I decided to try the V8 vegetable juice with antioxidants since I can not tolerate fresh veggies. I have been drinking one small can a day for about 3 weeks now and it seems to have cleared up diarrhea in most cases. I haven't had bm's this good in a very long time! No blood either, but I am pretty sure that is from the Colazal, however, the Colazal didn't clear up my D.
Any reasoning for this. I hope this continues and that it might help others out there.
Diagnosed with UP 30 years ago. Went into remission for 20 years, 4 with no meds. Symptoms came back 4 years ago after taking antiobiotics and wont' go away.

I like the V8 fusion juices. I have to be very careful with veggies and fruits. I've drank it since being diagnosed, so I don't know how much it helps or doesn't help. It will be interesting seeing what others share.

The ironic thing about me and V8, I started drinking it just before I got sick with my crohn's colitis...likely just coincidence but I haven't had one in 23 years now lol.
bee propolis caps 500mg one cap twice/day
omegas 369 caps one cap twice/day
probiotics 10 billion cfu once/day
vitamins C-calcium ascorbate (easy on the gut) and vitamin A each once/day
Prodiem fibre supplement one cap before bed
I've also altered my diet (no junky stuff at all, processed, fast-foods, refined sugars, ect) and exercise regularly.
I went from 30+ bloody BM's/day with lots of lower back pain to an average of 5/day no bleeding no back pain and completely formed stools, still have severe urgency issues.
~~~~~~~~My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it! LOL :)~~~~~~~~
