Well, I hate to say it (because nobody should have to have ibd) but I'm kinda glad you're having symptoms before your scope, hopefully it leads to concrete answers. If you weren't having symptoms before the scope I'd be worried they'd tell you it's "nothing" and then all of the sudden two weeks after the scope it comes back...then what, start over
. I will be thinking of you this Friday. It sucks ou can't prep at home. The biggest comfort I had for my prep was a nice warm bath. Once the pooping started I drew a hot bath, and put towels down along the path between toilet and tub. Once a pooping session was done, right back in the tub. It was a lot of in/out but the warm water helped my tummy..and, lets be blunt, my burning bum hole.

Meds:Asacol 1.6g/day Elavil 25mg/day. Salofalk supp, nightly. Supplements: Probiotic (ultimate flora 50billion) 4 Metamucil caps/day. Colonoscopy (dec2013)showed inflammation/ulcers 25-50cm area only, pathology didnt indicate ibd. flex sig (feb2014) chronic inflammation, rectum only. GI calling it indeterminate IBD. IBS-D for 10+ years, diagnosed by verbal symptoms only, questioning that now...
