Just received my biopsy results back, here they are:

Sigmoid colon: Colonic mocosa within normal limits. (That's good, correct?)

Rectum biopsy: Mild mucosal prolapse, negative for dysplasia. (Does that mean hem's?)

Doctor's note: The mucosa was unremarkable. There is normal vascular pattern.... I think she is getting good response from treatment. I would ask her to continue with this.

Biologics ruled out - higher skin cancer risk

I know (my GI once told me) that if there's normal vascular pattern, it means that it's really okay with the colon, so I think you can be really glad with your results:)

I think it sounds pretty good. No dysplasia, unremarkable, both good! I think the only part that might be less than great is the mild mucosal prolapse but I am not sure exactly what that means.

I have some information on it, but I'm still confused. But it can cause constipation - which I have a problem with sometimes. I saw my GP today and got the results, and he was very happy with them. I have to see my GI on June 2. He'll be able to tell me more.

I'm glad that everything else is great.

Also, I forgot to put this. Postoperative diagnosis: Normal-appearing mucosa, Mayo score of an A in sigmoid and in rectum splenic flexure clear.

Zero. I barely have any symptoms of this mucosa prolapse thing.

Wow, that is great! What do u attribute your remission to? Ldn? Paleo? You don't do any rectals? Sorry for all of the questions...I like your results.

By no means, no need to apologize.

I went paleo just before going on LDN so I could get used to it. Been on it since December 2012. A few bumps in the road (stress or not eating something agreeable), but it usually went away a lot quicker than when I was on Imuran.
No rectals. I was on the steroid foam when I started LDN. Went off of it since it didn't help me.
