Did UC got worse with aging ?
Everything gets worse with aging. The only good thing you can say about
getting old is that it beats the alternative.
When I was younger I could eat all the gluten and shellfish I wanted. Being health conscious I tried to eat some cruciferous vegetables almost every day. Now I have to watch everything I eat and regularly take my powdered psyllium seed (yeech!) to remain halfway normal.
Male/62 DX IBD in Feb08. No meds, allergic to Mesalamine. Remission since Mar2010. Psyllium seed mixed with VSL3 is very helpful. Several Culturelle a day firms up stools. Food diary instead of SCD or Paleo.
