Still feeling bad. I felt fine last night actually after a few runs to the bathroom with very watery D. Had a baked potato, no issues. Went to bed, no BM when I woke up and I wasn't bloated. But as the day went on it got so bad I couldn't take the pain in my stomach (no pain in my gut at all). Tried to get in to my GP but as usual booked up for 2 weeks. So I left a message for my GI. This just doesn't feel like a flare-up to me. Other than the D, almost all the symptoms seem upper GI/stomach related. I definitely won't be taking Humira. Considering I am not bleeding, no joint pains, no pain in my left low abdomen. Just seems like overkill and torture for my body.
I feel like at night my nose, etc isn't draining as I'm lying down, so I wake up and am fine. But it starts draining immediately, I can feel it all day long .Then by noon my stomach is so upset I can't take it anymore. I just don't know what to do in order to solve that issue I guess as I can't make the cold stop draining any faster.
Editing this as my GI just called. He said for now to stop eating any dairy products like milk or ice cream. Said hard cheese is ok. He said that after you have an infectious illness it can deplete the enzymes that digest milk products. He said that can cause D and bloating. So told me to try that and if I'm not better in a few days call back and I have to go in. So guess I'll try that as I've been drinking milk the past 2 mornings. I'll have to find something other than cereal to eat for breakfast!
