Well I really can't complain yet. Cause it's not working at all. It's called ez2go. I drank two bottles as per instructions at 8 am and it's almost 11am and nothing yet. I guess it's ok cause I read the package and it says bowel movement in 1-3 days and I guess at 4-5 pm tonight I take the stronger part. I don't love the thought of possibly being up all night on the toilet... taste was very faintly bad.

Anyways, it has been a ridiculously long time since my last scope. Just going to make sure nothing dangerous is going on. I really like my "new" doctor, not really new, but had only been to her a few times before I stopped going. I had forgotten how good she was since I had spent many years going to an untrustworthy GI.

My "new" doc thinks I may have a desensitized rectum from my surgeries and that I need to get on a fiber and suppository regimen to get my body on a bm schedule. We will discuss this more after the scope is done.

Hope you all are well. I am dreading the next 2 days. Especially since my appointment isn't till 2pm tomorrow, dont know how im gonna handle not eating all that time. I like to eat. All the time. smhair

sounds like a very slow prep for a c-scope....let us know once it kicks in.

I would agree with the doc regarding a desensitised rectum from surgeries. Just inflammation limited to the rectum can cause constipation....so hopefully the fibre and suppository regimen will get your bm schedule on track.

Let us know how your scope goes tomorrow....

Thanks for your update :-)

I've never heard of ex2go, what kind of prep is it? I've only used Suprep and I find it hard not to gag from it! The first time I took it, after a few hours I had to run to the bathroom mid-sentence! The second time I waited and waited and nothing really happened. I've had flares that were worse.

But the scope went fine, so don't worry if nothing happens to you! Good luck!

Have never heard of EZ2Go! Wish you a speedy recuperation from c-scope, and hope you can update us soon. I felt a bit unsettled for a couple days after my last scope despite being in remission. (UGH! A pleasant experience it ain't + medical center where my gastro is affiliated now requires total sedation with Propofol for c-scopes.) / Old Hat (33 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)
