I notice that my sig seems to disappear at times then reappear.
My diet todate has not been that good if I am honest. Only had 5 inches of rectal inflammation and just carried on eating that same old things. I also took folic acid, calcium and vit D, Turmeric, zinc and multivit.
Eight weeks ago my colonoscopy showed inflammation in the distal sigmoid. Started Salofalk enemas and they seem to be helping as I have had no blood for about three weeks.
I stopped all my supplements and am now restarting them as I didn't know what was helping and what wasn't. So now I am taking multi vit, probiotics and calcium (de to taking steroids).
My GI told me to go gluten free which I have for the last two weeks. I do know certain foods don't agree with me. Salads are not good as they give me the runs.
I had a bout of gastroenteritis last week that's why I started the s boulardii. Even though I have no blood I was still having 6 bms with some urgency in the first hour and a half of waking up until two days ago. I bought some L Glutamine but it still sits in the cupboard because I was a bit scared to take it.
I am worried that all I am doing is causing constipation and therefore masking the symptoms.
Was going to reintroduce the supplements one at a time. There are so many things people take that I don't know what is good or what is bad.
Sorry for rabbiting on so much. Must admit it is nice only going twice a day.
