Sorry for the graphic question but has anyone had any stools that smell like acetone (nail polish remover)? I think it has to do with ketones but not sure what that means for me. I experience that every few days. I'm currently not flaring but I have been going back and forth with severe constipation and occasional flare in the past couple of years.

Any thoughts?

What are you eating as of late? Some foods do put out a noxious odour once through the digestive tract..

I'm interested to see the replies here. I also have at times, had stools that had a chemical like smell while at the worst of my present flare. Latest episode I was while on low residue diet, which I'm still on but the odor is long gone.

I've never noticed any smells like that. It would be an improvement over some of the odors I've smelled
