I used to get a ton of migraines when I was on birth control with estrogen. it was awful. What I've done is change to a mini pill. I do take an NSAID when things are really bad but I try not to because of having UC. I have had luck with antidepressants and some tripthans but the majority do not help me. The one that works for me best was zomig. Since I stopped estrogen, I rarely get them but I do notice that when I do, zomig doesn't help anymore. Asprin is not the best for us. I tried dologic, no luck there. Frova, no luck, maxalt, nothing, Axert, nope... It's very individual. You should see a headace specialist and see what your options are. If you're open to an antidepressent or a change in birth control, those may be options.
