I get two types of cramps lately. The first are low and spread across the width of my body, between my hip bones. It's a gurgling/churning kind of cramp and usually happens with diarrhea or at minimum a heavy poop number day. Sometimes "wrong food" related, sometimes not. The second type is by far more intense. It's always on my left side, in line with my belly button and down towards my hip bone area. It's a stabbing intense pain. Like a tensing up of my colon. It's almost always right before, during and after a BM. Even if it's a solid good BM I'm getting this.
Does this sound "normal" UC cramps? What do yours feel like, where are they, and when?
