Well one reason is if there parents might have had it, they call it genetic anticipation where the child
gets it years earlier, in my case I was 32 my son was 21.
But all the changes of westernization since about
1900 is the problem,which ones,who knows.
These changes may also confound genetic anticipation also, and perhaps it is not as real as they might
believe. Here in the usa there was a shot schedule change in 1983 and more after that, where you got more shots earlier in life,does that make people more prone, no idea.
Something is messing with gut bugs,or how our immune system handles them,or how barrier function
is controlled, or how about
we did not get enough childhood diseases to train the immune system,or we should have died but antibiotics and shots saved us. But I believe I was pretty sick with lots of different stuff as a kid, I remember
mumps well. Zillions of possible reasons.
