I have/had the same exact issue I believe. I feel fine when I wake up, it is when I get out of bed that things get a little sketchy. As soon as I get out of bed and stand up I get this nauseas feeling, typically it makes me start to cough a little and the next thing i know i have to vomit up bile. This actually was going on for quite awhile. I did a lot of research and even started an older thread on this forum regarding it. I never could find anything out about it actually except there are a lot of people on the internet that this happens to and that have been vomiting bile every morning for years(non UCers and Chronies). For me this nauseas issue started almost immediately after being diagnosed- so I think it is related to my UC or possible meds, I still don't know why though after all of these years. All I can say is that since I started taking LDN nightly about 1.5 months ago things have improved greatly. I only vomit maybe once a week if I allow it, other mornings I can hold it back and most mornings lately I haven't even felt bad. I don't know what, when or where. But for me I think the LDN is making the difference for me, purely based on this vomitting issue - I have had UC for 8 years and over the last 1.5 months is about the only time vomitting hasn't been an issue for me in the morning.
If you search for vomitting bile on this forum you should be able to locate my original thread a year or two ago. Basically if I remember correctly most UCers on here stated they didn't think it was a typical UC symptom though.
