Are you saying you were scoped and there was no rectal inflammation? If so maybe the urgency is linked to your mind a bit - I'm not saying it's in your head like it's not a real symptom, but, I know for me at least, after flaring for so long and having huge urgency issues(read:pant loading) when I was healing I think I took every little signal as
oh god! I have to poop now!!!!!!
and I had to kind of retrain myself to "trust" my butt a bit.
However, if you think there is still inflammation then obviously you need to treat the with actual meds. Suppositories helped me in the urgency area.
Diagnosed IBD indeterminate. Pentasa 2g/day. Salofalk enemas and suppositories (up and down as needed). Metamucil caps daily, critical care 50 billion probiotic daily. Previous: asacol HD (switched when I started pooping them out whole).
