I'm tongue in cheek. Sometimes it is better to drop the past and start fresh. Every day is new and beautiful. Re-living your past can be detrimental to your present and future. If you want to keep track of your meds and diet a food diary can be of benefit. Every moment is a new beginning to your health... i practice zen. :) Best.
LOL, I think a person has to actually believe that in order for it to work...if you don't believe it then like in my case, the past is simply a reflection of your present and future...not all moments in life are new and beautiful (especially from my experiences) and for me to believe that they are is completely unrealistic in my mind...of course it's great to think positive but the reality is you have to have something positive to think about
and many people (especially chronically ill people) don't often have a lot of positives in their lives when they struggle with so much around the clock, or at least many have a hard time sifting through to find the good stuff to focus on when there's just so much bad stuff they have to tend to daily...hardly the same as just "having a bad day" as some refer to it.
