so my stomach has been feeling okay, no pain and no visible blood in stool (fingers crossed), but stool is still thin, not pencil thin, but thinner than it has been in the past with a square side to it (which on another post, on another board, the person used the term like the side of a box on one side).
I told the doctor about the thin stool and he did not seem to be concerned and attributed it to IBS and/or two small hemorroids. I am still taking the balsalazide for now because of not seeing the blood and mucus like a few weeks ago when I felt constipated, but I don't think i was constipated. I still have a prescription of lialda on hold at the pharmacy in case I decide to switch.
I am feeling very anxious about this and am being a hypochondriac, just seem to waiting for the next symptom, and driving myself crazy. I have been taking curcumin 500 mg. twice a day, boswellia 307 mg. three times a day, psylium wafers twice a day, and have added magnesium (which I think has helped me to go to the bathroom in the morning, instead of that feeling like I have to go and nothing comes out. Also 9 balsalazide a day. I have been rotating the mesalamine enema and 1/2 bottle of hydrocortisone enema every other night and using the canasa in the morning.
Any suggestions on the form of stool I see right now? I am going to the bathroom twice a day, only the morning. Sometimes in the middle of the day the canasa seems to want to come out so I do so and a very little loose stool comes out with it. Thanks you everyone for your replies.
