It's encouraging that you don't get worse, right before each infusion. If tomorrow you don't go to the infusion it would have to be a calculated risk, it's your decision.
I'm at 5mgs per kilogram every 8 weeks, in remission for nearly a year, and I haven't experienced any return of symptoms at the 8 week mark. One nurse told me if I haven't seen symptoms returning at week 8 then it could be pushed back further. I'm not the gambling type.
Remicade must remain at a high enough concentration in your body to bring your from one infusion to the next. If that concentration is too low, then uc symptoms begin to return. It's possible you could have enough remicade concentration left now to pull you through another 7 days, and the opposite is true. Only an expensive Prometheus labs blood test could indicate that concentration with certainty. Do you feel lucky?
