Dear All, for several years now I can't seem to raise my legs very high, in that I can't comfortably swing a leg over to sit on a bike. So I have to tilt the bike very low to get on. I also notice that my lower back gets very stiff if I sit for a long time. And if I'm driving, even 15-20 minutes in the more cramped car seat can make my back very stiff. It takes me a minute or two of walking with a stoop before it gets a little better. The longer the distance I travel, the longer it takes.
I suspect I may have a low grade inflammation that just doesn't go away. This inflammation may be related to the chronic UC.
Does anyone know of a belt that I can wrap around my waist? Alternatively, a cushion that helps with keeping the lower back less strained?
I'm still on UCERIS and rowasa enemas.
