Hi....sorry late start to the day and just came on.
Thanks for asking...I was going to post a separate thread anyway.
I was certainly agitated by having to wait an extra half hour before being called in...grrr, so didn't have the scope till about 2:45. At least I now have a memory of what my new doc looks like (forgot since the first time, lo).
Can't remember the units of measurement for the meds, but it was 5 Versed/25 Fentanyl...worked fine except tough going around the splenic flexure. I watched the entire thing.
He removed a polyp in the sigmoid and below that into the rectum I have a few pseudopolyps...tiny, but there. Never had them before, so what's with that? No inflammation in that area at all, and I've had no inflammation there for eons.
The rectum, yes low in rectum was definitely inflamed...so flaring and healing is according to my symptoms.
He only took 7 biopsies plus the polyp....never had so few, and it plays with my mind a bit as to why so few. I'll make a list of questions for when I see him next (which is whenever the results arrive and then the appointment will be made).
I also will be having an MRCP on Sept 6th. So it'll be good to talk to him about everything at follow-up.
I had breakfast around 4:30, and was conked out by 5:30. My whole day was out of whack and I sure felt it...but I'm happy with my doctor and will get used to the scheduling process. He did say that if anything happens flare-wise that I need to see him to just call. So that felt reassuring. I do trust him so far. We shall see about the concerns I have about the biopsies.
He has no problem with what I do regarding med regimen.
Today I'm feeling fine, had good bms and seem getting back to normal.
Thanks for the good wishes everyone!
