Anna, if it is any comfort, my daughter had the three step surgery this past year and is doing great. She took off the year from school and focused on recovery. 6 years of limited activity and bathroom horrors took their toll. Even after the first surgery, she was healthier in a hurry. The bag took some getting used to, and the surgeries are stressful, but there is life on the other side. A good life. You will be fine- ensure you have an advocate in the hospital, get to the best surgeon you can, and keep reading here. You are going to get through this!

Drug sampling: Asacol,Cortifoam,6mp,Colazal,Rowasa,PPI'S, Flagyl, Pred.,Diet not directly impactful.Remi w/adjustments= remission 4 yrs, re-remission with Tacro 6 mo.
