I can understand taking those “big gun” meds if you tried to give the milder meds a fair shot and nothing else could put you into remission. And some take them as the only means to close up and cure an intractable fistula or something.
It's wonderful that there are those here who have found success with those meds without major side effects. But that is not the whole story. There are others who posted here who have not been so fortunate.
