Unsure on whether the longer video ads are here to stay. I have yet to hear a response from the site owner, he's a busy guy with a day job, family, and he has a chronic illness like we all do. He will respond, but slow responses are commonplace from him.
Us paid, lol boy I wish, we're all just volunteers.
The reality of the situation is that the ads you see cover just the monthly operating costs (hosting of servers along with the bandwidth and software used) of healing well, which are about
the same as a monthly mortgage payment; not cheap. Although, donations are accepted, they make only a tiny dent in those monthly bills (not a plea for money, just the reality of longstanding trends). The current ad arrangement keeps everything in the black, healing well is fine, and will continue to be. Perhaps, a little background that might be helpful to understand.
If the video ads are unbearable, use a mobile device (if you own one) as the videos don't display on mobile. For those without mobile devices (not everyone owns one), one stilll has the ability to install an ad blocker plug-in to your browser; just know your page views don't render the ads and therefore don't contribute to healing well's bills.
