This might be too far for you, but in Pittsburgh, the UPMC IBD team does this thing called Total Health. It means that as part of your IBD care, you also get appointments with a dietician, a psychiatrist, and a therapist. My experience involved going to a GI for meds and tests, the dietician monitoring my progress on FODMAP and elimination diets, a psychiatrist giving me anti anxiety and anti depressant drugs, plus suggesting supplements, and a therapist to work on natural pain and stress management techniques like guided meditation. All of these medical professionals communicate with each other with regards to your treatment.
