Simponi was the first biologic I tried. I read the marketing packet and I was convinced it would help me!! Unfortunately it did nothing. I guess for people who respond to TNF blockers, it could be a good option.
I responded to Remicade for almost 5 years before I developed a reaction to Remicade; after that Humira and Simponi didn't work for me. I am on Cimzia (another TNF drug) right now but it doesn't last more than 2 weeks before it completely wears off, I need it to last 28 days.
I haven't heard of too many people who do well on multiple TNF meds, usually just one med and the others don't work as well.
