Thank DMC, I do try Canasa in the morning but most of the time can't keep it in but I will keep trying. My GI said morning and evening Canasa and enema at night. I will look up teensius - thank you. The more I can learn, the better. I only had very mild flares all these years and sure it changed things for a day or two, but this has been awful. Very hopeful about
the cruise because I do feel better. Oh, and I will stay on low residue diet but I am concerned about
not having BM.

Diagnosed with ulcerative proctosigmoiditis around 2006. Medications: Canasa, Colazal 750 mg.
Flare up: February 2016 - currently fighting the worse flare up I've ever had. Taking hydrocortisone enemas. On third week and finally seeing some healing.
Usually flare free as long as I take my MEDS daily.
Quit smoking 2002
