It's best to retain the enema all night long, however, even an hour is helpful and will still heal you.
Thanks. I think I am seeing slow improvement which is exciting, and I've only been on them for nearly a week. As well as that seeming general improvement I have noticed a total lack of red blood, which I was seeing pretty much every day before I started the enemas. It seemed to stop after the very first enema. At first, I wondered if it was coincidence, but not sure about
Hopefully if things calm down more and more I can hold them in more easily at night. I have started waking up at 4am-5am to go to the toilet for some reason, sometimes to get rid of the enema / do some stool and wind, other times (when there's no enema in cos I got rid of it earlier) just to go. I was never that doing before the enemas started, is that a common thing that happens or?
As for farting ... hmm ... sounds good but I'm not sure I trust my technique enough! Sometimes I am practically shivering / faint trying to keep it in for as long as I can, just to get a few mins extra, but those seem to be the times when I know from the start that I am pretty windy and uncomfortable to begin with.
