He can since he's the one who does the actual diagnosis. He would have probably put that on the report as suspecting. The biopsies will state if its consistent with UC or not.
NSAIDs are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. I'm assuming that the doctor asked you and mentioned that on the report as to not assume it as a cause.
Have you been on a continual use of ibuprophen or naproxen or aspirin?
When do you get the results?
Is there a reason why you didn't get a c-scope onstead of a sig-scope?
Did your doc put you on meds?
