I am sure they will eventually find something they are putting in our food is causing this.
Here is one possible explanation:
1. More and more crops are grown to be resistant to Roundup (active ingredient glyphosate). The adoption of glyphosate-tolerant corn is 89 percent of U.S. corn acreage in 2016. Based on USDA survey data, glyphosate-tolerant soybeans went from 17 percent of U.S. soybean acreage in 1997 to 94 percent in 2014, 2015, and 2016. Plantings of glyphosate-tolerant cotton expanded from about
10 percent of U.S. acreage in 1997 to 89 percent in 2015 and 2016. Of course some of that Roundup also gets into our water supply.
2. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has labeled glyphosate a probable carcinogen and it is banned in Europe.
